Homeostatic Model Assessment for Insulin Resistance

The Homeostatic Model Assessment (HOMA) is a method used to quantify insulin resistance and beta-cell function.
It is based on a mathematical level that considers the concentration of glucose and insulin during fasting.

The normal range (for a normal non-insulin resistent person) is: 0,23 - 2.5
